Sage Green Island Kitchen
A two-tone kitchen that gets its warmth from color instead of wood. The wall cabinets are sprayed in SW Fleur de Sel and the base cabinets step down into SW Silvermist, both in Sayerlack water-based paint, over white birch plywood boxes. A farmhouse sink anchors the run under white quartz counters, brushed nickel hardware keeps the tone soft, and the island was built with deeper side panels so seating tucks cleanly underneath instead of bumping the cabinet fronts.

Project Highlights
- Two Tones, One Room
Fleur de Sel uppers over Silvermist bases keeps the room bright at eye level and grounded below the counter.
- Farmhouse Sink Cabinet
The sink base was built specifically around the apron front so the sink sets flush with the door line.
- Seating That Actually Fits
The island's side panels were run deeper than the cabinet run so barstools slide fully under the overhang.
- Soft Metal Choice
Brushed nickel keeps both paint colors reading soft rather than high contrast.
Dovetailed drawer boxes with custom wood dividers keep utensils and tools exactly where they belong.
Hand-sanded, catalyzed finishes and solid hardware chosen to hold up to daily family use.
Every cabinet is cut to the room's real dimensions — no filler strips, no wasted inches.
